When it comes to skin care, I have always been particular to use certain kinds of creams and moisturizers. My skin is very sensitive, and if a product doesn’t suit me, I end up getting irritated. And to top it of, these products leave my skin super oily.
I was in search for a new moisturizer, when I came across Body Shop’s Vitamin E daily moisturizer. Before this, I used to use Neutrogena, but that always left my skin oily and soon, I stopped using it.
Body Shop has many different kinds of moisturizers, so why Vitamin E?
Vitamin E is considered to be an important element when comes to caring for your skin. It has so many benefits. Scientific studies show us that Vitamin E has very specific benefits to the skin.
It protects the skin from environmental pollution, it has a protecting action against UV radiation, it contains powerful anti-inflammatory action – and this can prevent the signs of premature ageing, as inflammatory conditions in the skin is a leading cause of skin ageing, and it has excellent wound healing properties Apart from all of these excellent qualities, Vitamin E also enhances and helps with the penetration of other compounds into the skin.
I use the Vitamin E moisture Lotion (SPF 15) during the day and the night cream before I sleep. I always use a cleaner, which in this case is the ALOE Calming Cream Cleanser, also from Body Shop. This cleanser is amazing! It leaves my skin feeling soft and cool. ALOE is also a great substance for your skin. Its properties help to treat acne, fight aging, and act as a moisturizer. My night time routine involves cleaning my face with the cleanser, washing my face and later applying the Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream.
These products have literally helped my skin. I have less acne and a clearer skin. They do not make my face oily and work well with my skin type.
