Fun with Fringe

Its been two weeks since I posted a new blog post and what better time than to do it now! These past two weeks has been everything from being nervous to move to a new country, and to being excited to meet new people. Having recently moved to Sydney, I have just started getting used to the place. After coming back home and working for the past 1 and half year, I am back to a new place and starting a new phase of my life.

This is a much pending post. I honestly did not get the time to complete it and be able to post it. So here it is today! During my visit to Chicago last month, I went shopping and came across Zara’s end of season sale. The price drop was insane and did not expect to have so many options. I always look for statement pieces, something that actually adds a little Omph! to my outfit.
I came across this fringed sleeves top and fell in love! I think statement sleeves, be it ruffles or fringed, are a great addition to your wardrobe.

Sometimes I choose not to follow fashion trends. In the world of fast and changing fashion styles and trends, you tend to get so confused. It is also so exhausting to keep up with it. Honestly, I am not a fashion expert. I love to experiment and I believe in investing in pieces that give a edge to my outfit.

Since I was being all touristy in Chicago and also since it was freezing, I paired this top with jeans and sneakers to create a casual look. Perfect for a day out and can easily be turned into a night outfit if you pair it with a leather skirt and booties!
